Tenby locations

Well there are two main beaches at Tenby, North and South...

North beach has a large rock perched in the middle and a Harbour, also lifeboat station...

South Beach is a long sandy beach with what i would call an Island ?? on top of this is an old monkey sanctuary which is closed... Further alongthe beach are views across to Caldey Island...

Hope this helps...

Just enjoyed a week in the Tenby area. There's plenty of potential for good photos in and around the harbour, although, the best scenery is to be had just a few miles West of Tenby. There are some stunning views along the coastal path - Green Bridge - an amazing natural arch is my favourite.

If you don't have a car, there is a coastal minibus service, designed for walkers, that you can use to reach some of these areas.

Part of the coast is "owned" by the MOD and is not always accessible during the daytime, their firing schedule can be found

Hope you have better luck with the weather than we did!

I've got some shots taken around Tenby harbour and South Pembrokeshire here:

If you can get transport to the west of Tenby, Broadhaven (South Pembs) beach, St Govan's Chapel, Barafundle Bay, Carew Castle and Stack Rocks (on the Castlemartin range) are worth a visit.

The sea fort looks great too, especially first thing in the morning.

they do a lovely seal watching trip from the harbour. Your camera may get wet from spray at the boat goes FAST so get a storm jacket or something for it if you do. You might get some interesting shots from the sea and hopefully get some shots of seals. I saw loads when i went a few years ago.

Tenby and the surrounding area are gorgeous, you're on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

You have Saundersfoot, Freshwater East and West, and a plethora of simply stunning seascape and coast path scenery locations for landscape shots. You're also in a super area for direct line to sunset images.

Shout if you want something specific.
