I stopped drinking as such about 18 years ago when involved in a car crash, meds meant i couldnt drink but it didnt stop me socialising, was amazed when in pubs and was forced to listen to the drivel that a large percentage of people including my friends were spouting after as little as 2 pints, it was uncomfortable to see how agressive 2 pints makes a lot of people, i decided that i no longer wanted to be one of those people, i still have to put up with the wifes dribbling after 2 glasses of wine on the sofa on a Friday evening, a couple of Shandies and a couple of Cokes is my limit.

I spent the final 18 years of my working life as a night time taxi driver ,that put me off drinking totally picking up idiots in the early hours and listening to there drivel and behaviour was enough to turn me off for life
