Ten pin bowling

Anyone else do it? Any good?

I go about 6 times a year with my 11 year old daughter (I also have a 14 year old son whom I don't see: long story) so I don't get much practice, but......

My most recent outing I scored 177, five strikes (four of which were the first four frames) and two spares.

......am I just good, of is it easy?

I`m bloody lethal with a bowling ball. Absolutely terrible at it. I`m on a good day if I get over a ton.

Mind you, it always coinsides with a fair quantity of lager. There may be a connection....

I am alright, used to play at uni although it was a lame excuse for a sport mainly involved sitting down and drinking. My average was 183 with a max of 200ish, do you normally score that high or was it a fluke?

I am scary. I throw the ball into the other alley. Throw it to high so it nearly goes through teh floor etc. I think its jsut because I am accident prone. I have manged to hit 3 people with a pool ball and smack someone in the head with a cue. In about two days.

used to do a fair old bit... was lucky enough to represent GB in my younger days!!

Mind you that was mid to late eighties!
