Edit My Images
Yes
Hi,
I really need some help desperately. I have bought some templates (from USA) called Master the Image (Steve Mackley) for my studio. I am a wedding and portrait photographer and wanted some templates for baby photo's. The disc comes with a tutorial, which unfortunately plays on and off so you can't hear it, only snippets. Now I can open up the templates in photoshop, but I don't know what to do to get my photos into the templates. I have tried all sorts to try and do it but to no avail an I am getting really frustrated now. Can anyone, in simple, idiot proof way, explain how I do it????? So far I open up the template and it opens itself in PS CS2. What do I do now. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP.

Thanks,

Mel:shake::shake::shake:

I don't know the templates your refering to but I'd guess you paste your image into the template. Some you select a layer and paste into (rather than just paste) but it's hard to say without actually seeing the template.
What format are they and do they have more than one layer?

They are in PSD form. When I try to open the photo's I need, it wont let me copy them to be able to paste them. The templates have about 3 layers in each template. Do I copy the photo's from their file, or do I open them up in PS? I have some wonderful templates that I cant use.
Sorry I seem to be a little stupid. I use PS all the time for my photos, and when I open a photo to edit it, I can copy it, but not when I open it with these templates!:shake:

Contact the seller, saying you have purchased his template, now how do I use them.

Looking at the site they are just layers with a mask, there are some album builder software that can use this type layout, example www.fundysos.com

Open your image, select all and copy, now try pasting into the template, chances are you'll need to paste to the bottom or middle layer, I'm guessing theres a border of some sort. Try turning the layers on and off one by one (the little eye icon by the layer on the layers palette) look for any that don't have transparent bits, they most lightly go above your image.
If you want to PM me your email you can send me one and I'll figure it out for you if your stuck. Wayne
