Tell me something I don't know!

I have no teeth at all, I refuse to wear false teeth, and I only started doing photography because I lost all of my confidence as a result of it.

Does that count?

When younger I used to juggle fire, ride a unicycle and loved messing about with a diabolo. I really should start doing these things again...

I used to be a dancer for nightclubs - came off the back of a podium thanks to a drunken idiot that decided he wanted to dance there - I came down face first onto the edge of podium and shattered almost all of my teeth because my mouth was open at the time (I think it was the "Oh Shi...." that I managed to get out!)

The damage was too extensive to repair, so they ended up pulling them all....

My right eye is going funny and I get double vision sometimes, which means I have to use my left on the camera, awkward.

I had a scare a couple years ago when they found out I had a prostrate tumour...................Thank #uc# it turned out to be benign, controlled with finistride.but the consequences are I can easily beat Chris's 8 months without sex.:shake:

I fitted one night scared the hell out of my other half, and since then have been very laid back about life. And enjoy life all the more for it.

I fell out of a dead / rotten tree when I was about 7, and scratched my side (about kidney height) on a metal spike stuck out of the ground by about a foot! So I went and found another tree to climb in! :D

Was involved in a RTA a few years ago with my Dad. We were in a moggy minor going up a long straight stretch of road. Just as the first car on opposite site got level with us, about 10 cars ahead this guy pulls out to overtake. Hit us head on, our car turned over, my door flew open and my left side of body was receiving gravel rash. Car flipped up again onto roof, I got thrown out. It all happened outside this one cottage on the main road. Still half knocked out all I could think about was phoning for help. There was a 5ft privet hedge around cottage, could not see any gate so just lept the hedge, banged door like mad. I couldnt have waited no more than a few saeconds and remembered my dad. Ran down drive and towards car that now had flames coming out of it. A woman stopped me and asked is that your dad in the car, I said yeh, she said he`s dead he`s dead. telling her to #@%$ off I ran to car where my dad was just hanging upside down motionless with blood pouring from the top of his head. As I tried to pull him out he came around. After getting me in the ambulance, the first corner we whent around the stretcher on wheels came away and I got slung across the other side :bonk:

I once went to a Star Trek theme pub in London, they had John Pertwee as a special guest (they had various sci fi people showing up)

I got so drunk, I got him to sign my forehead.....

I was at a wedding where two of the guests (Trekkies, I think they called themselves) turned up in Startrek uniforms and pointed ears.
An argument broke out when other guests refused to be photographed with them.

I bet, loving the silver lining approach ... did you ever find out why?

Yes I am diabetic (after an evening with friends and drinking :nono:) and forgot to test my blood sugar before going to bed that night and I hypoed very very badly. Frozen shoulder and a headache you would not believe in the morning.

I had no idea until I was talking to my other half in the morning:
"Had a weird dream last night that a bloke in a boiler suit was at the bottom of the bed"

"That was no dream and the bloke was para medic"

Then it sunk in how bad it had been. Idiot I was, don't make that mistake again.

So yes "the silver lining approach" works well :D

My friends Father committed suicide last year due to Bi-Polar disease, and for the first six months i did nothing but worry that my friend was going to follow him and do the same. I also cried like a baby at the funeral, i was ok until my mate came in carrying the coffin. He just looked so small, and i just wanted to hug him:'(:'(:'(

I have managed to bend my knee 90degrees the wrong way from BMXing, i passed out from the agony:lol:

I haven't spoken to my parents or my sister for over 2 1/2 years after being accused of the worst thing possible. I don't even miss them, is that wrong:shrug:

I like the fact that i am a very convincing and guilt free lier (this doesn't apply to the above though). I can literally lie to the face of a priest, and not fell guilty over it:shrug:

Ryan Giggs nicked my biro after signing an autograph for me when I was 16 :D

:razz::lol::lol::lol:
