Is it worth getting a 1.4 convertor to go with a z70-200 s or would using the crop factor setting produce good results. I know i will loose one stop of light with the converter, and the result of the crop factor of 1.5. I am photographing birds and wildlife. Camera is a z6iii

I have read conflicting statements on using an FTZ and a z mount 1.4 converter. Some say it works, where others say that it doesn't due to connectivity issues. Camera i am using is the z6iii

If possible, visit a retailer to check that it'll work, Then, if it does, spend the extra that the retailer is charging for the kit from them rather than saving a few quid by buying online.

I'm using F mount TC's with am FTZ adapter for F mount lenses to Z mount bodies without issue.
Not sure if I'm missing something but if you have a Z mount lens and a Z mount camera why do you need an FTZ adapter (As per your 2nd post)?
Surely you just need a Z mount TC...and £579.00 in loose change.
