I am trying to connect my N95 to my home wireless network, it asks me for a WEP code.
Any idea's where I find this?

Your broadband modem/router should have a wep code in its setup page or if you havent assigned a key/code it will be open and not need one. all pc's using your router will have to have the same key typed in to use it.

If you haven't set a WEP code and you are with sky/BT or someone, check the label under your wireless point, the WEP code is often printed on there.

I would have thought that if it is asking for a WEP then one has been assigned (to the wireless router). And this would have been done by you or whoever set up your router. I haven't heard of wifi routers supplied with WEP codes already installed.

Thanks Matt, found something under the modem
Do I key everything in would you know or just the numbers?

it should be 10 characters, you need to put it all in

If it is the wep key it'll say WEP:10characterwepkeyhere

If not, then you need to ask whoever set up your wireless point/check the documentation that came with it.

Neither had I until I came across an AOL one at a family members earlier this year, since then I've heard Sky/BT do a similar thing.

Does help when you know what you are looking for, Cheerrs Matt:thumbs:

My Belkin you used to have to make a key yourself... but the Orange Livebox has it underneath the box... nice and easy.
