Tattoos?

Didn't even spot that, although it's fair to say that that isn't the bit of the image that immediately draws the eye. :D

Whatever floats people's boats, I suppose. Not my sort of thing. :cuckoo:

to be honest, if YOU want it then why should it matter what others think?

Tattoos on ladies look chav like and are a massive turn off to most men. Depends on what you are trying to attract.

I think they are slut like and hate them.Sorry for being honest, but that is my opinion.

um no. kat von d = yum. :naughty:

I believe that getting a tattoo is a matter of personal choice................and yes some people love them and others hate them, everyone is entitled to have their own thoughts on the matter. But having tattoos does not influence the type of person you are. I am very quiet by nature and to meet me for the first time you would not think me a "tattoo" person.

I have 9 (number going on next week).......................I am far from "slutty". All of mine are in places that are covered and are only ever seen by others if I choose to show them. Each one has been done becasue I wanted it done and out of all the ones I have done only are "out of the book", all the rest I have designed myself.

I personally feel that is people don't like my tats then tuff, don't look at them. Each is my own little piece of art (we are all togs here so we all understand how individual a definition of art can be).

As for wrist tattoos, I have one on each wrist. One is on the underside on one wrist and the on the other it goes all the way round.

Although I do agree that there are some bad designs and applied one out there,, but each person is allowed the choice to treat their body as they so wish.

Sorry, just my two cents worth. ;)

Kim you have prolly summed up my own opinon on tattoo's. if your happy with a tattoo who else cares what people think, you get them done for yourself no one else! I have two, one i hate but one i love, but the one i hate has a story so its swings and roundabouts really, but there we go.

Back to the original question, if your happy with it then go for it, maybe at a later date?

cheers
Matt

I had my first one done and it was a further 3 years before I had my second done. I have also had a bad one done (poor choice of tattooist) but that has since been covered with something I designed myself.

But regardless of what others think, remember it is for life so think long and hard before that first inking.

Go for it and have one if that's what you want. I don't mind wrist tattoos if they are not over powering.

I have a tattoo and have won many a pint by showing it off.

I have "Your Name" tattooed on my arse..

take absolute no notice of the people who say they don't like tatts or they look chavvy or any other stupid excuse for talking you out of having one it is your body and i would hope you have the sense to make your own mind up.... it is one of the longest practiced art forms ever and can be very impressive if carried out by the right tattoo artist at the right tattoo studio.... if you are bothered about people seeing it and what they might say then it's not for you...almost everyone i know has tattoo's male and female...it is down to what you like and is the same as me not likeing tog's in anoraks and hiking boots how chavvy is that and you know who you are.... if you want a tatt go for it but make sure you think long and hard it is for life dont get it for christmas

Well....this is mine....designed by me with no black in it at all. l love it.

Its way too personal a thing to allow yourself to be influenced by anyone elses comments. You have to live with it, they do not.

You want one? Then have one. My only advice would be to take your time and be completely happy happy with it. l designed mine with help from my tattoo guy, and l went back and got him to tweak it 4 times before l was happy.

My husband hates it....but that makes no difference to me...its on my arm, not his.

One thing l'd say though....if you are being swayed by peoples comments, you are not sure enough to do it. lf what others are saying is not budging your desire for one, the go ahead, because thats how it needs to be.

Ouch!!!

lt's not what ya got, it's how you use it. Thats what l was always told anyway.

Hi Squizza,
I am a bit on the fence, I quite loke some tattoos on girls, but it depends what, where and how big! I quite like the ones just above the bum and small ones on the breasts [but only because it gives me a legitimate excuse for ogling breasts]
and some, again small on the upper back. I don't like ones on the wrist or arms as they are quite intrusive and not very ladylike.

Dunc

PS Having said all of that an admission, at 59 years of age! I have no tattoos but have always wanted them. My mum hated them with a passion and I promised her I would never have one. Survived the Paras and the Prison Service but I am wekening of late...!
