Handy, saves asking for one I guess

Good luck. Don't forget to post up a pic when its done.

:D

It translates into

No Regrets

The runes are rumoured to be influenced by mayan. But Mayans used a forme of hieroglyphics known as logosyllabics.

Anyway whereever they are from, they're used on one of my favourite bands album covers too, A Perfect Circle. I've used an alphabet translation guide and what it says in the album sleeves checks out to be a lyric from each song on each page. So I've then gone on to use that alphabet for no regrets and this is what come up and I love it.

according to my friend, Keiko Musumai it says ....

"Follow this path young man, and heaven awaits you"

It says Chef Fancier, because she's too shy to ask, although under what circumstances he'll get to read it remains clouded in ambiguity.....

actions do speak louder than words though....

Nice tat and I hope you have no regrets from the past and for the future

you're braver than me I have 6 tats but none on my back

Guardian angel on my right upper arm he guides me and takes care of me and my family
Wifes name and sons name on left wrist
Tree frog on right wrist
Small tribal on chest
and like a moari symbol on left upper arm

I thought it said " I love Nikon " :D

I have a tat that crosses my spine. I thought the spine part would be agony but it was the bit over my left kidney that I thought was going to kill me.

I'm hoping for a new one this year if I see a certain shark while diving in Australia. It will have a combination of all the sharks i've seen while diving. It may be going over the one that crosses my spine meaning more left kidney agony.

ouch!!! looks nice but I feel bit of pain coming on, I have tattoos but none on my spine, two on my back on each shoulder, and three on my upper arms.

spike

I have quite a large one across my spine too and the outline hurt like holy heck! Had to stop for a bit before carrying on.

I got mine as a bit of a watershed in my life, aftery my hubby and my Dad died. I got a lily surrounded by green foliage designed and it goes right across my lower back.

I'd love something right down my back to key into it too.

Good luck with it and pic when it's done please ;)

Keiko called - she said none of you would be allowed into public bathing areas nor saunas etc in Japan

"Japanese tattoo is called irezumi or horimono in Japanese. In Japan, tattoo is usually considered to be a symbol of a yakuza (Japanese mafia) and tends to be perceived negatively by people. For example, many public bath facilities in Japan inhibit customers who have tattoos from entering."

just in case Le Chef whisks you away for a naughty weekend in Tokyo.....

1) ooo the mafia. Nothing like being a bit of a rebel

2) If I go to Japan I wouldn't be in a sauna, I would be out togging :D

Does the chef likes tattoos?

might be worth knowing:)

Enjoy the tattoo (and the pain) Sarah... I had my first one done a few months ago. After forty years of saying 'never' I finally gave in. :)

Si

Why have it written in a language nobody will understand. Why not have it written in English?
