This weekend Liverpool hosts it's first Tattoo show / convention. Its at the Liverpool University Students Guild building across Saturday and Sunday.
I am of on the Sat. There are over 90 artists going to be working as well as music and burlesque shows.

This is the Linky for the show.

This would be really good to go, I have a bit of Ink.. yourself?

There is one this year in Derby that I missed last year that I would like to go to.

I do indeed have a bit of work. I am hoping to make at least one of the days at Derby in july.

Took a load at the manchester show in March Linky to my set on flickr from that show

I love the tattoo "Steve - work by Bob Hoyle - Garghoyle"

I have a sleeve of a similar design but its not as fine as that. One of those things with tattoos, once its on you cant really change much about it, and when you see something like that!!!..

I have 2 large angels too, which I love and people seem to like, however I need my shirt off to really appreciate them, but I dont do that in public, im just not that guy! lol

Been planning my next tattoos for a while now, but money issues and the inability to get the design solid in my head as slowed it down. However i need to get one soon, got that itch.

I only have 1 tattoo on my shoulder of a wizard roughly 7" long but I would love a vampire on my other shoulder but I have never seen one I like. Can anybody give me any ideas on a good place to find a vampire tat, the tattoo shops where i live dont seem to have any and i'm pretty useless at drawing so i can't draw one myself.

You need to find your self a tattoo artist, not a tattooist.

I was lucky to get recommended a tattoo artist in Nottingham who only does one off stuff, you go in, tell him what you want and he will see what will work with you. Then if needed he will do some drawings prior to starting to make sure he gets down what you want. Just makes the tattoos more personal, as if you get it from a tattooist book someone else may have the same thing.

Thanks for that, are they a lot more expensive that way?

I paid 20£ for him to draw up my tattoos, and he told me that it took him 9 attempts to get it right as it had a fair bit of detail in it.

I guess its just finding someone, best way is if you see someone with a tattoo that you like ask them where they got it.
