On my way back from the park early this morning, a feller with a DSLR and big zoom took my photo. He stood in the road as I was driving down, I distinctively pulled my sun visor down. Funny isn't it, we get annoyed when someone takes our photo, but that is what we do ourselves with our cameras. I did chuckle to myself, thinking payback time :).

I noticed he was part of a group taking photos, I slowed down to have a look and went back to have a nose. It looked like there was a motor show on of some sort, looked like fancy cars. Not into cars, besides I did not have my camera with me, or at least my decent camera..

Ah! but what if anything is special about your car or location that caught his eye? ;)

We might see the image on here later for some crit :p
It is possible, as there were loads of people taking photos. Don't mind as long as the focus of critique is on the artistic merit of the photo, and not the subject being photographed ;). Wonder what was quicker, me pulling the sun visor down, or his fancy DSLR and lens ? Just hoped he picked my two fingers as the focal point :p

Nothing special about me or my car, my car is average while some may say I am below average  .. The location however was not too bad, just down the road from the Albert Dock.

Sure they were photographers :D

Normally the HI VIS jackets give them away you can spot them a mile away, but by the time you have spotted them they have clocked you . Any way deffo a togger of some sort, I was half thinking of stopping and having a nose. Just I had the dog with me, and she gets excited by large crowds.

Possibly a camera club meetup.
We always get odd looks when there are a lot of us together.

Possibly, but it was an impressive turn out. Not sure if they were photographers, or simply petrol heads :) Probably a bit of both...

Yep that's me :D

Sh*t not annoyed that I have indeed been photographed, just annoyed as it looks like I have left the dog behind in the park...

But at least you remembered the memory card...

One thing I've discovered from the Ducati forum is that there are plenty of petrolhead photographers, the two interests seem to go hand in hand. [emoji846]

It's no accident that I have a rucksack style camera bag - enables me to jump on the bike and enjoy the ride to the photo location as well as the shoot itself. For me it was an ideal meeting of two interests.
