I saw that too. The way he hugged it close to his chest and said "My precious".

While I will admit to watching EastEnders regularly, I do think it has lost it's way . . .

and he also made the mistake of taking a picture of his mum and aiming too high because when you look at the display image it shows the studio ceiling and not a standard living room ceiling
 
When he set the timer I don't remember seeing him press the shutter release button, instead he pressed something on the other side of the camera:thinking:
 
aaaahhhh is that what it was seen the canon but couldn't see which it was
 
no but im talking about the digital display screen on the back of the camera that shows the picture after you take it.
 
when he hugged the camera and said my precious. My wife Kathy just looked at me. She didnt have to say anything - i know what she was thinking - "sounds familiar"
 
It was on here (I don't know why, we never watch it) and I texted my mum to say he'd nicked my camera.
