Tamron warranty card?

There wasn't a warranty card with my Tamron SP 70-300. Has anyone else had theirs missing, as it seems you need the card to qualify for the 5 year guarantee?

That's funny, I have two of these bought from new and I have just checked the box's and guess what !

No warranty cards

I got mine from jessops but it was only the other day that I got a letter from them saying that the 12 month warranty is just about to run out and would I like to extend it with them !!! wonder if they take them out to make a bob or two ?

Mine was from Jessops as well. That's 2 lenses I've had now with no card in.

I will do, but they have one page stating that if you don't have the European Wanrranty card, you should take the lens back to the dealer. What happens then I don't know.
I was wondering why it had no card, I can't see Jessops flogging grey imports though.

I'll try the online registration now, and see what happens.

I've just registered it and had a confirmation email back, so it all looks ok at the moment.

Dunno why the cards are missing if it's a legit import though.
