Hi,
I looking for some advice for these lenses, which do you think is better for canon eos 60d:
Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 VC Di II Lens or Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM
thank you

You might also want to consider the non-VC version of the Tamron. I've had one for just over 2 years (on a 450D and now a 50D) and have been delighted with the results.

i'll third the Non VC lens, ive got one of them and its great.

And a 4th for the non VC version of the Tamron, a cracking lens, as sharp as a tack, fantastic value for the money.

hI
thanks for the replies
I wanted as well to ask how far away can the Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 shoot please
(i was wondering if i have some far away landscapes do you think will get anything decent please

if anyone have some online photos will be great

Isn't the VC version an improvement?! Has it made it that much difference?

On amazon the non VC is only £295 I think which is a great buy!

VC or IS isn't really needed for a lens with such a shot focal length in my view... and the NON-VC is the sharper lens, so why buy a softer and more expensive lens???
