Just saw this on HUKD.
Amazon.it have the Tamron 150 - 600 for 954.31 euros which is £694 GBP. I see the lowest UK price is around £850 so a saving to be had if you don't fancy the chinese route.

If you buy something in the EU, the warranty has to be honoured in any other EU country - so yes, you'll be fine.
