Well, I could buy it for about 500 pounds without VAT on Monday if I had the money.
I could ask for it, but I don't like doing that... especially because I should be finishing school in about two months.

Mmmm... I've been looking at these reports with interest for the past couple of weeks.
I'm still undecided. :shrug:
It looks a little soft when open wider than f4 and stopped down to f4 it looks no sharper than my trusty old Beercan can produce wide open at f4.
I look forward to seeing some results from a Sony body when the MAF version is finaly released and comparing it to the Sigma HSM equivelant when that finally hits the stores.

You also have to take into account that there are few lenses as good as the Beercan imo, stunning lens with awesome performance.
