Tamron 70-300

Has anyone had experience of the Tamron SP 70-300 f4-5.6 Di VC USD? I was thinking of using it on Auto and all I want is a clear , bright picture! Thanks.

Do you mean in the viewfinder, or the live view LCD, or your computer screen, or from your printer?

For the money I've found the lens to be excellent, I took one on holiday with me in July and I'm actually stunned at how well it worked with my D750.

A thumbs up from me. I use it on Nikon DX bodies and the image quality is excellent. Handles nicely and the VC is very effective..

Make sure the Jessops deal has the VC lens. But I'm pretty sure the deal includes the non-VC version.

Then thats the older Tamron 70-300, not the newer VC USD lens

If it is the non-VC version don't get tempted would be my advice.

I've used both and the non-VC is erm - not a good quality lens to put it mildly.

Canon mount is £219 and I doubt you get the 5 year warranty that Tamron offer.
