Hi, New member here.
I am looking to upgrade my Tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 lens to something with better image quality.
I find a lot of my shots suffer from chromatic aberration, or at least I think that's what it is, and slightly soft even though I try not to go past about 250mm.
I thought I would have to look at the Canon EF 70-200 f4L USM (non IS) but after a search in this forum I see someone suggested a Canon EF 75-300mm F/4.0-5.6 USM III which is much cheaper.
Can anyone suggest a better lens than the Tamron that is less expensive than the Canon 70-200 f4L as the Canon would stretch my budget.?
Main interest is motorsport, camera is a Canon 1000D.
Many thanks
Dave
