Tamron 70-300 LD Di vs Canon EF-S 50-250 IS?

I already have the tamron, but obviously this is the non IS lens.

The question is, is it worth going for the Canon?

I cant comment on the Tamron, but I have been blown away by the quality of the 55-250 which my friend has. Amazing price for an amazing lens

I`ve had Tamron 18-200 on my old Sony A-380, plus currently using 18-250 on my A-580. Couldnt quite afford the 18-270. Nice lenses, Sharp when the auto focus is on form.

I have both those lenses, the Canon EF-S 55-250 is much sharper and better all round, I never use the Tamron lens, I'll probably sell it
