Tamron 15-30

Anyone out there use this lens? Specifically for wedding etc?

I have bought one just recently, cant wait to get my hands on it

I was thinking of getting one. The reviews I've seen are promising, but I have to wait for a wee while as there are some other lenses on my priority list.
I'm interested though in your opinion on how it performs on weddings. I have sigma 12-24mm but I only use it for about 4-5% of my photos during the wedding. I wonder if this tamron would make higher percentage.

I literally only used my 24-70 @ 24mm so it had to go, never been keen on any 24-70 and I've tried a load of them lol.

Was a toss up between 24-35 f2 / 24 1.4 but I ruled it out as I have the 35 1.4

The Tamron was always on my radar and it covers the wide angle and the mega wide. I think the UWA makes for lovely double spreads in albums.

Can't wait to get a hold of it !!

The 15-30 is very good, most reviews suggest its the equal if not better than the vaunted Nikon 14-24 f2.8, if I was in the market for a fast ultra-wide it would be this, I did briefly try one for a weekend but opted for a slower 18-35 in the end as I didn't need the f2.8
