TalkPhotography™ Day 2012

Well I'm on my way back from my shoot so will be posting up shortly
 
I've been really chuffed with my shots from the last three days so am bound to struggle today! I am off training with the dog display team for most of the day, so it may well be doggy, or I might take a hike up the Malvern Hills this evening.... Hmmm....

Great efforts submitted so far!
 
You early risers have done so well - the bar has been set very high now.

Especially liking Mike and Stuart's work :clap:
 
Some cracking work so far...as I am in the house most of the day tidying the bomb site that is the children's toys, my options are more limited...may get some nice flowery shots in the In-Law's garden when we go to visit later...

great to hear how everyone's day is going and what's involved in getting your shots. I'm working till 4, then i'm going to go the 'scenic' route home and may pick up something on the way in the form of a landscape.. other options include;

dog
kids
me
Sunday roast
sunset

after that i'll be struggling :bonk:
 
Just got back from visiting my old Ma, rather (very) warm so think it will be an evening photo from me
 
I was in Lyme Regis at 5am, and have a few shots to edit, unless I fall asleep :lol:

Sky was a bit murky first thing so decided to fall back on my indoor shot. Just spent over an hour setting that up and it ain't good. Having a break before plan B and if that fails it had better be dry tonight for some light painting.
 
Had a whole sunset shot planned again, but my wife decided to go overboard on the tequila yesterday at a friends party and then fell over, taking me with her and screwing up my already very fragile back.
Just attempted to take the dog for a walk and barely made it, now sat on the sofa unable to move, so I guess I'm out.

Annoyed isn't the word, I purposely didn't drink last night so I could do loads of stuff today including this shot, and the whole day has been ruined and I'm in agony.

I'll see if I can conjure up something in the living room, but I'm not very hopeful.

Hopefully you can get something, even if it's a phone picture, John has a picture of the nurse from his hospital bed :clap: so how about and Iphone picture of a nice brandy to dull the pain ;)
 
Couldn`t get out today so thought I`d see what I could get in the garden. Plenty of sunshine, butterflies flowers etc but every single shot was out of focus despite looking ok through the viewfinder. I think I`m wasting my time, it must be the shaky hands. Next stop Ebay

All sorted, and sent high res by email.
Poor visibility here now so I'm glad I went out earlier.
 
Managed an hour out with the camera this afternoon, but no idea what's on the card yet.
I've still got a load of images to look at from a studio lighting course last weekend, so it's all stuck in a bit of a backlog at the moment. It'll be processed and sent by the end of the week though :D

My plan B worked a bit better than plan A so submitted that. Saves me trying to get something tonight and relying on the weather.

Thanks Matt, and likewise yours. I've yet to be brave enough to spin the wire wool, feel safer with battery lights.

Now I really need to go and dry the floor and walls before Mrs Sprout gets home from work. :eek:

Bit gutted as I had an idea but my daughter was ill yesterday so her birthday party was postponed until today so I haven't had time to do it and it too late now :(

I'll have to see if I can come up with something else I can do indoors.

So long as your photo is taken on 9-9-2012 it can be part of this great day so get it shot, posted and emailed :thumbs:
 
I ended up getting a bit arty-farty with wild flowers in the end - oh well!

Now uploaded - eek! Not sure it will keep up the standard of the other entries.
