I'm in! Going to the 7-a-side Paralympic football final so should have plenty of opportunities there.

There maybe an email but Im sure as it gets closer and on the Day this thread will be repeatedly at the top of the forum :thumbs:
 
I didn't know we had to 'sign-up' surely just submitting photos would do ?

You don't have to sign up it's just helpful to let us know how many people are planning on taking part :thumbs:

yep - this - its helpful to know how many we've got , and its also really handy for smooth to know how many he's likely to cater for in preparing the slide show and photobook etc

'signing up' is no big deal - all we're asking people to do is say 'yes i'm going to take npart' on this thread , to give an idea of the numbers

Giving us a :thumbs: that you will be taking part also helps to promote it to other TP'ers - the more that sign up to take part, the bigger and better it will be - rather like a snowball effect!

Having joined in the two previous years with contribution of images from Saudi. This year I'm due to be in London on the given day / date. I'm struggling to think of a Saudi theme which I may do while in London, but I'll figure something out :thinking:

With that note, no chance of wild camels around in UK :p

I think that I will give this a go. just apoint - 9th Sept is one of the Heritage open days so chance ot get shots of some places not usually open - presuming owners are happy. Burt worth a think

I originally found and registered to this forum looking or a nice marketplace to buy a new body and lens .... the locked down secondhand forum was frustrating but understandable ... I Then noticed i really liked the community so will definitely hang around :thumbs:
 
Well looks like I need to pull out of this, had to put camera in for repair, focus on camera has went haywire.

Quite gutted to be honest, was gonna buy the book when it came out, just for the sake of having MY photograph in print:'(

Not had a P&S for about 5 years, had one and got a job in the telecoms industry, worked there for 2 days and got handed a case with a Canon 5d inside and was told thats my camera for work!

Could never afford my own SLR and it was something I always wanted since I was a kid( not a baby goat though :lol:) got paid off and gf bought me my 550d, which I love having, just hope I get back as soon as possible.

Going camping at the end of September down Dumfries area, UK's first dark area and was so hoping to get some pics of the milky way, galaxy, maybe a mars bar or 2 lol

Just my luck that my camera went t!ts up at this time of year, sunsets are early and the leaves will be turning lovely orange and golden very soon, so hope I get my camera back soon.
