Hi All

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. ~ Mods please move as appropriate?

Has anyone had email comms with Kerso recently??? Actual discussion not just receipt of his very worthwhile list ~ I bought my last lens in mid March off of that very list :clap:

The reason I ask (and for the record I have bought 2 lens, a 40D grip and Canon battery from him) is that I was in email comms with him in late March with the last email on the 1st April.

This was about whether he could send me a copy of the receipt for the 24-105 IS I bought in March 2008 ~ he asked in succeeding emails for personal details pertaining to the purchase (postcode, lens serial number etc) and I understood this to mean he was going to send me the copy. But then silence :shrug:

I sent him a PM a couple of days ago and noted he has been logged in here at TP since then but again silence ~ I have no idea what to make of the complete lack of response this hence this post??? I do not know what else to do other to ask publicly if others have had comms with him in the meantime and to try to understand why I have not heard anything more from him???
 
Have had a couple of comma bouncing back and for over the last couple of days, am guessing his inbox is a tad full.
 
Ah! I have not had my PM bounce back ~ do they bounce if the recipient Inbox is full or are you refering to emails???

If you're trying to PM him here, it won't bounce, it will just flat out say "your recipient's inbox is currently full, try again later" if you try and send it.

If it's an email, it might seem at first like it's sent successfully, but you may get an email back a few hours later saying their inbox is full.

Either way, both methods (PM or email) should tell you if their respective inbox is full.

You might want to make a post in his thread in the "trader sales" section of this site, as he seems to semi-regularly check that every few days.

OK, never had any 'message' ref PM inbox full or indeed that email was undeliverable type messages of any type so on the face of it he has "seen and read" the PM and emails ~ the plot thickens :lol: not!!! :thinking:
 
have you tried kerso1123@msn.com - he does/did have an ebay account as well an so does other things apart from sticking glued to TP - like a few members :lol:...

just maybe - that like a few, he's logged in but is on another screen doing other things.. You dont know...

Try him again an I would imagine that you'll prob have to wait a couple of days for a reply... I'd imagine that with him being a trader he does have to sort out other trades from other places other than here on TP...

I know this post doesn't help - but its seems its a case of contacting him again & just having to wait i'm afraid....

Yes, I have that email addy and as I have used it before it comes up as I type it in Outlook :D

I will email him again but the question still stands if I can PM with no indication of his Inbox being full why has he not replied 'here'?

Laurence, the invoice you were looking for I have made a new one and you should have it now. Please advise? Ian.
 
Update, I have received the email with copy invoice so that was great ~ was just a minor question I asked about and as such look forward to an amended copy :)

PS I also asked Ian if in the light of the troubles in Japan if he had an updated stock/price list???
