Just went live last night and straight away there's a vast improvement from orange .... YouTube and no buffering ,watch iplayer and no buffering and I'm saving £31 a month ...... result

Welcome to the happy TalkTalk'ers club - I've had no real problems for years but I know we'll soon hear from those who say they have. Horses for courses I guess :)

Have only ever been with Tiscali/TalkTalk,so nothing to compare with
....had a few minor glitches from time to time but on the whole happy with the service provided (for now at least ;))
Currently enjoying the full package at a reduced rate for 6 months
 
We have the reduced package also ,when I first saw the modem I started having my doubts ,It's tiny compared to our old version ,we have 30 day to see if we're happy to see if we're happy on the performance side of things.

Have to look at the graphics card now,seems to get hot and then the computer crashes and the monitor's screen goes a blotchy greeny yellowish (I'm colour blind) and other times a blueish blotchy colour and this is the whole screen ,

Went from Tiscali to TalkTalk. They are ok not the best, but did not have to pay the ridiculous bt installation charge.
 
Have just got a MAC code through from them...

6 users on their forums, all complaining of the same issue with a particular router since a specific date. Their response "Buy a new router". Apparently all the people who have this router need to buy a new one.

Not satisfied with this, I changed to Google DNS servers away from TalkTalk's, which resulted in fixing the problem, proving their DNS server at fault.

Their response?

"We're glad this has fixed your problem".

I was furious.

Their customer care is non-existent.

I'm glad you're happy with your speeds & such, but I pray you never have a problem.
