Yes
I need a direct link to a Talk Talk director as the 'customer care' number is problematic to say the least.

My wife has been on the phone for over an hour so far and can't get through to anyone of significance.

Background:
She set up a phone for her mother at a retirement flat, which the MiL didn't move into.
Phone contract was cancelled within 5 days of being set up. Phone lines were not installed or used.
20 days later Talk Talk charged my wife £252, supposedly the no charge for cancelling within 21 days of setting up the account has been ignored.
They want to charge £238 for cancelling.
Any refund will be in 10 days.
Talk Talk charge 30p per minute for you to call them on their 'customer care' line.
Over an hour on the phone so far.

Time to get in touch with a director...

No director details but another customer care number is
0203 441 5550
which may be cheaper!
When dealing with them I have had to insist that they escalate the complaint, no more discussion, whatever they say I just repeat that they need to escalate the complaint or I would be writing to
Head of Complaints – CEO's Office, TalkTalk Group, PO Box 344, Unit 19, Southampton, SO30 2NP.
That normally gets a manager who manages to sort out the problem and add an extra bonus to my account.

This is the Company who, after my husband died, threatened to send in the bailiffs to collect payment for a bill in my husband's name [ an old LineOne /Tiscali email address he had retained, of which I was unaware ] and refused to talk to me as I was not the account holder.

It took over 6 months to get it straightened out and I had to involve Offcom.

The bill was for £10 !!

That's awfull camerassassin.

I was unfortunate enough to sign up to TalkTalk when i moved to my new house last May, had lots of problems and i'll be ditching them as soon as i can.

I would write immediately setting out the details and send to whatever addresses you can find. Worked for me with VirginMedia when I had a problem.

And from this point on ONLY converse with them via a written form.
They may record conversations for their records.... You don't.

This is on their contact page.

Please make sure you have your account details to hand when you call.

From your TalkTalk landline: 0870 444 1820

Calling from your Mobile? Save money and dial 0203 441 5550.

Calls to the 0870 number above are free from your TalkTalk phone. Calls from non-TalkTalk or AOL lines are charged at 3ppm plus your phone company's access charge.

Same here after their big mess up,but its finding another one thats better :)

Yeah finding someone better is the problem, there was a way of ditching Talktalk after their recent hacking, which put our personal details in jeopardy, but who the hell do you replace them with?

You only have to google BT, Sky etc and they're all sh1te lol

Better the devil you know maybe?

I wouldn't put much faith in that postal address, looks like a unit offering poboxes for several companies.

I'm not aware of any talk talk specific units on that estate.

I've been arguing with them for ages, its a long story and eventually they quit communicating but in addition to Dildo's email
I have this as well

TalkTalk Telecom Group Plc (Registered in England & Wales No. 7105891)
11 Evesham Street, London W11 4AR
020 3417 1000

Michael Hopkins
Exec Manager, CEO/Legal Office
T: 0203 417 1544
E: ceoexec@talktalkplc.com

Hope that helps (y)

If you are happy to pay for a better service then you can't go wrong with Zen Internet.

I'd second that, without any hesitation. We've used Zen at work and at home for many years now, and I'd highly recommend them. :)
