Well, that was a shocking first round for me. Should have gone for my idea of only fielding current & former Palace players.
 
Knew I shouldn't have transferred my West Ham players out! (afterwards) :banghead: :LOL:

Woohoo...in a Champions League position at the moment. I know we are only one week in, but I having this moment anyway!! :D
 
A bit late to table... but just joined the main TP league. Though after my first round performance seems like I'm heading for mid-table obscurity!
 
Just logged in to check my team and was a bit miffed to discover that I'd only ganied 15 points this week.....then I remembered that 8 of my players are still yet to play! PHEW!! :LOL:
 
Yup, football is all about consistency. On current form, I expect to consistently get a number of points that wouldn't stop me from driving.

Hi yes I do but when I tried to add the main league code from the first post as a private league it didn't work.

Hi there, I copied/pasted and also typed as well but both times it say the league is closed.

The code I used was 751129-186093

Never mind I don't want to cause any hassle :)
 
The head to head will be locked now but the standard league should be open unless Keith checked the 'lock once league starts' box.
 
Yup its locked, I answered @Gsrai question in post 65

I closed it this week after giving a couple of weeks for stragglers to join in

If the majority of people have no problem with the league being open all season let me know and i'll open it up again
 
I have no problem with it. It will be embarrassing when people joining after Christmas have passed me by Easter, but the shame is a cross I must bear.
 
I've no problem with people joining as and when during the season. It also gives new members to TP a chance to interact with established members.

Thanks Keith, I've just joined and the team name is "cool Runnings" - shows my mental age as its one of my favourite films :D
 
Unfortunately, I need Gomez to keep a clean sheet, AND for Sanchez to score a hatrick...something tells me I wont get my wish.
