when does the automatic sub thing happen?

I had rooney and he played zero minutes which means my vice captain gets double points but its' not showing that right now

Not sure, maybe tomorrow as there is another game tonight? I find the whole system painfully slow to update!

I did not have a successful points haul this weekend either but on Sat I had managed to get to first place somehow! :bonk:
 
Think I need some changes but hey ho.

I'm hoping Rooney will start..

I've kept Rooney in as captain so I'm just hoping he starts.

Well it wasn't going too badly until Newcastle conceded 2 minute from time and cost me 4 points!

On another note, am I understanding the rules correctly in that, in the case of substitutes, a non playing defender will be replaced with a substitute defender? If so, I had Jamie Carragher on the bench and with Richards not playing for Man City and Tim Howard saving a penalty (with De Gea not playing), that's 13 points coming my way after the weekend.
 
Not a particularly successful few weeks, can' t believe Young wasn't even on the bench! :bonk:
 
Agbonlahor got me a few points yesterday - scoring one and creating another.

I'm hoping Adebayor can get me some points this afternoon.

How do clean sheets work for subs?

i.e. if a sub comes on at 60 mins and the team doesn't concede does he get a clean sheet bonus or does he have to have played 70 mins of the game?

no, actually it was a friends sub i was hoping wouldn't get the clean sheet fro united and they didn't.

My wife had van persie as her captain today though so 3 x 4 = 12 plus 2 appearance points minus 1 yellow card = 13 points x 2 plus no doubt the 3 bonus points. She's looking at 32 points from him today, nicely done! and to think at the last minute I changed my mind over transferring rooney out for him :bonk:
 
it's really tight this year

i'm 43rd yet there is less than 100 points between me and 1st.

2 captain hat tricks would put a big dent in that

it's a long season

Last transfer I can see of yours was Pederson out and Murphy in on Oct 17th.

What does it say when you move from viewing week 12 to 'pick your team' for week 13 ?
 
Did you press the little 'confirm transfers' button (easily missed) on the next page after you'd made your choices ?
 
Finally decided to switch Rooney for Van Persie this weekend working on the principal that Newcastle might represent tougher opposition for United than Fulham would for Arsenal.

Typical - Rooney has scored and I now hear Van Persie might be rested.
