Talk Photography Fantasy Football League(s) for 2020/21.

It was a coin flip for me who to Captain, Sterling or Gundrogen, I wish I was better at coin flipping :ROFLMAO: Oh well, Sterling did get an assist and I did make a good move by replacing CL with Maddison who was initially going to stay on the bench this round

to sum up my season in 1 game, Gundog my captain in a double game week, assist, 2 goals, clean sheet, then his 180 minutes is cut short at 68 with a groin strain :/

No injury indicator as yet on the site, maybe he just needs to do a few stretches :D thing is, most of us have him anyway, and at least you got the max

Spare a thought for the ones who left CL on as captain ... ouch - one of the top 5 in our league did just that, I spotted 2 others lower down too

I have Gundogan as Captain as well. Could have been worse and been injured in the first couple of minutes, and just double one points. Which would have equalled the points I got for Alexander-Arnold and Robertson combined. :$ :banghead:

Glad I stayed with Gundogan Captain as though instead of Kane or Son, and that was because of the potential points from the two games, and the form he was in. I don't mind if Fernandes goes and proves me wrong in not choosing him as Captain. ;) It would make a change.

Now got to wait to see how long the think Gundogan will be out injured. I already have to make a change for Justin being out for the season, but if Gundogan is only a few weeks I may keep hold like I did with Kane.

Btw, despite the Liverpool loss, try to see the beautiful pass Firmino gave Salah to score if you haven't already.

As someone said earlier, if Gun is out, then it might be a good thing for those of us with Sterling as captain, he will have to command the MF that bit harder. Of course that can lead on to injury too, but he will at least start the game. I don't want him to go crazy mind, I have an Everton defender!

12pts on the bench and donkey Keane, once again, mucks that up by playing 34 mins and scoring ZERO. When a player is actually better off to you NOT playing for 2 games .... sigh

Bizarrely Keane coming on and scoring zero is a win for me, his sub would have been Dallas at Leeds with -1 :)

22pts he's cost me over just 2 games, last time I was in for 11pts, 3mins to go he comes on like a big donkey and gets 1 pt lol. Jinxed he is, but then I leave him out and he'll get a CS/assist and a goal!

Is Gundogan likely to play tonight after coming off with a possible injury? I have him but don't want him to play, as lots of folk in my other mini league have him as captain and I don't!

I hope not cos the rest of the team are playing tomorrow ;)

as an equally useful answer, there has been no news out of the City camp on Gundog

Looking unlikely he will start:

Suits me too, as some in this league have him as captain too, and him and possibly De Bruyne not fully fit should see Sterling shine

Needs a dislike button :/

well strap me I'd never noticed that shiny red thumbs down, photographer you see, very observant :/

I got a random one recently from someone who must have been sore about something I said months back as there seemed no reason for it whatsoever. Easy ignored, cries for attention don't interest me

It's a daft one really, wasn't anger face enough? :ROFLMAO:

Gundawg now has a yellow '!' - took their time adding that, still saying 75% chance to play against Everton but as above, manager seems to suggest far less likely

Pep doesn't usually play games, if he says someone is out then 99% of the time they're out. Silly to risk him with the champions league just around the corner

It can sometimes take a few days for the medical departments to assess certain injuries because any swelling may need to go down first, so maybe no game playing, but a more accurate prognosis as time goes on.

Not the DBL gameweek points we'd hoped for!!!

Yeah not even close! Turns out these double weeks can be a bit of a scam :D I have a tricky choice this week, I have Meslier who will play twice - but is prone to letting in a pile of goals, and Martinez who's been my main GK since start who tends to score decent as he makes saves and gets CS. He's been more consistent than most of my outfield players. You just know if I stick with him Leeds will get 2x CS and Meslier will possible get a hat-trick somehow :ROFLMAO:

Bench boost and get both???

Bench boost and get both???

Long gone, week 10 :/ I have no patience

Not the only tough choice, it'll be interesting to see what others do concerning the Ars-City game, how confident are you in their defenders? will you take the chance on Gundog returning in good form? do I keep Sterling on as he's been a huge chunk of waste since I bought him? who to captain? decisions, decision

Gundo I think will be back and at the price is worth keeping. I agree on sterling, not scoring his usual points and I'll upgrade to KDB as soon as I'm confident he'll be starting games.
I always captain someone with double games if there are any... and this week there are....

I'm keeping Sterling for now too, already made my transfers - had a couple no choicers like Justin, and well, lost faith in CL too. Also Keane, the 1pt specialist. I'd be tempted by KDB also or a switch back to Salah, it's not bad bank to have on an active player ;) I just wonder would he do much V Arsenal? Where I could opt for Maddison instead. I have Gun on field atm but will be watching any late news updates before deadline

Football, eh? I made Richarlison captain as with DCL out injured I was sure he would play up front in both Everton games, and it looked like he was back in form after two cup goals in mid-week. I thought he would score at least once against Fulham but he blanked against them :banghead::banghead: Thankfully he made up for it with a goal against City last night. Like those above, I'm pondering what to do with my City players this week. Decision, decisions!

Having 2 City players on the bench makes me uneasy ... I've now changed the formation/squad around at least 10 times and still not happy. Really wish I had that bench boost! This must be the best bench I've had to date

Top three stay the same, so Amber Army (94), Klopp Klopp Boom (91) and Farcealona (73) in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Slight increase from 1st to 2nd, but both increase their lead from 3rd.

Biggin Bangers (94) had a very good week, and move from 7th > 4th. Champsanova (67) fall a place to 5th, though only one point behind, and Double Pogba Redbull (75) in 6th are on equal points. Penfold's Dangermice (79) are just a further two points behind, so positions 4 > 7 are covered by four points. :$

Highest scorers of the week were Amber Army and Biggin Bangers who both got 94 points.:clap:

The average point score for the week was 61.

I had a pretty good week thanks to Gundogan getting me 38 points (as Captain) before getting injured during his first game of the two he was down to play, and ended up with 68 points. Saying all that, I actually dropped a place to 13th. :$ But happy to get more than the average. :)

There's a Friday night game this week, and btw double games for some;), so the deadline for making changes is Fri 19th Feb @18:30.

I think City will comfortably beat Arsenal, no way would I be benching them!!!!

That same feeling is in my mind, I've already since put Sterling back on, not so sure about the defence with Aubamayang back on form

Klopp Klopp Boom won their H2H with tarric tots 91 - 60 to stay in 1st place. Biggin Bangers also won their H2H with Atletico High Street 90 - 58 to stay in 2nd place and still one point behind Klopp Klopp Boom. Amber Army beat Hardly Athletic 94 - 83 to remain in 3rd, a further point behind.

Banished to Riyadh stay in 4th after their H2H win. Farcealona beat last week's 5th place DTFC Snapper in a very close 69 - 67 move up a place into 5th, as DTFC Snapper fall to 8th.

Mrs Smith's Boys won their H2H to move from 11th > 6th, and ahead of me as I won my H2H and moved from 10th > 7th. Mrs Smith's Boys are on the same points as me, but move ahead of me on accumulated points. I take on DTFC Snapper next week, so they have the opportunity to go back ahead of me as we are on equal points atm. ;)

Woodys wonders took on AVERAGE last week, and unfortunately lost the H2H 54 - 61. :$

Next to take on AVERAGE is Mrs Smith's Boys. Vill Gléck. ;)

Fantasy Football changed the design of the H2H page, so it looks a bit different, and I have to (self inflicted I know ;)) now print screen an extra page.

Cancelo may be due a rest anyway. Dias and Stones have had theirs already

He wasn't doing a fat lot anyway, I'll stick Sterling on though, my other pondering is on the Villa players, I have 3 inc the keeper but I'm going to stick the Leeds Keeper in for the double. I have a Def and Fwd, they play Leicester and at home, and I also have a Leic MF. Bit of a juggle no matter which way I swing it, but to have Sterling on one of them has to go either way. Thinking of going no Villa, stick Maddison on [he can't lose points for goals against at least] and Sterling instead. Or, put Watkins in instead of Madisson, I guess that's my last choice to make now ....

Can anyone explain to me, how in the flying F a goalkeeper is down for an own goal?? God damn this game :ROFLMAO:

Hehe I have zero sympathy, and that's not just because you're playing me this week........

Apparently " There was little to separate the sides before Traore hit a thunderous effort from distance just after the hour and the ball hit the crossbar before rebounding off the back of Meslier's head into the Leeds goal. "
