Talk Photography Fantasy Football League(s) for 2020/21.

Terrible week here too, completely blew the wild card. 3 transfer made already for next week, gotta shape this team up asap , it'll take points to do so but hopefully pay off in the long run

Champsanova (48) stay at the top, but their lead has been cut to five points from Biggin Bangers (60). Moving up ten places from 13th > 3rd  :$ are JUSTSTAYEDUP with a massive 90 points, and the highest score of the week. The Puckers (54) remain in 4th place, and Farcealona (48) fall from 3rd > 5th.

As mentioned above, JUSTSTAYEDUP scored the highest points of the week, with 90.

The average points for the week was 43.

I was having a pretty poor week until the last game, 22 points pre-game, and I had Alexander-Arnold, Robertson and Mane (Captain) playing, and thankfully gained 31 points from those three to end up with 53 points. :) I would have got more too, but Mane and Robertson both got yellow cards. Good job I got those points though, as I stay in 15th place.

The deadline for changes this week is Sat 3rd Oct @ 11:00.

Still three teams unbeaten in the H2H League, Biggin Bangers, JUSTSTAYEDUP and Klopp Klopp Boom, in that order.

No really close H2H's this week, and still no draws so far. That said, until the final game I was behind Farcealona in our H2H, but thanks to 31 points from my three Liverpool players, won 53-48. Phew! :)

Still three teams yet to win a H2H, hopefully this week is the one.

DTFC Snapper took on AVERAGE, and it wasn't even close, with DTFC Snapper coming out on top 78-43. :)

Biggin Bangers are next to take on AVERAGE. Benediximus. ;)

Well one of the head to head 100% records wont last another week, with Steve and I against each other...

I've played my wildcard. I was reluctant to do it though, normally preferring to save it for the international break, as across 2 weeks its easier to play the market, moving players in and out when price changes are due, making a profit before selecting your real team on the last day. But needs must!

I didn't spot that. Thanks for highlighting it. (y) :) Benediximus. ;)

Looks like the Brewster move is going to happen, talks ongoing apparently. As a LFC fan I'll be sad to see him go as an, but its probably for the best for him at the moment, and you never know he may be back if the buy back clause is true...

I'm in two minds about Brewster. He did really well for Swansea last season, better than I expected, but he will get few games at Liverpool, and is maybe not the right type of forward to fit in when needed. I think Jota is, though Brewster, like Origi, would offer something different.

I thought maybe a loan, and then make a decision next season. I didn't expect a sale when that option started being talked about, especially the way Klopp talked about him, but at the moment teams need money with no fans. If Liverpool sell, with the option to buy back, then that may be the best option for the player, and Liverpool. Whether he leaves on loan, or is sold, I hope it goes well for the lad.

He's still sat on the bench for me... Waiting for the move to United. Should do good things for us! I mean, anything better than 0 goals in 4 games is better haha!

Pretty sure the deal will include a buy back clause, or so the rumours are saying. If he has 2 great seasons for us and they take him back for double the money its a good bit of business by Wilder assuming we can get in replacements before then.

I've kept away from him upto now, as I didn't want to restrict myself to 2 Liverpool players that actually play. But if he moves, well.....

Will be be straight in the team at United?

100% Straight in i'd imagine, we are crying out for a striker

ITS HAPPENING!!!!

I wonder how the buy back clause works - valid for 3 years apparently...

If he goes, good luck to the lad. He proved at Swansea he is ready to play regularly and do the business. I'm not sure he would have been sold without this virus going on, but the buy back clause, if there is one, is a very wise move for Liverpool 'just in case'.

He could be a very good buy in the FF for anyone who needs a cheap forward. ;)

Bench Boost active, let's do this! that's all them tantalising bonus plays out the way so I can just get on with plumetting to the bottom without distraction :ROFLMAO:

Might use mine if Brewster is eligible, the other 3 are Leeds players so will be minus points after Man City

I read he's not eligible this week.

And bench boost should be played in a double game week!

Sadio Mane has tested positive for Covid-19. The 2nd Liverpool player to do so. Fingers crossed it's mild and a quick recovery.

I was hoping to get to after the International break to get to use two changes in one week, as I had a couple of changes in mind that I didn't want to lose points to make, but the Mane illness has prompted me to use the Wildcard very early, because I couldn't get anyone in near as good, for the same or less money, so I made 8 changes. :$ We'll see how that works out then.

ooh I need to check your team. WC here too! But week 4 or 5 is normal for me...

Edit.... Had a quick look and 2 wild cards but only 4 players that are in both our squads, and 3 of them are Liverpool! Just goes to show we all see things differently, although I do understand why you've picked most of your players. Surprised at the 2 Leeds boys though, I just can't see them keeping it up?

I transfered out Jorghino only yesterday, ah good ...

Captaining Calvert up front at least pays for the 12pts on transfers

anyone else transfer Vardy out this week?
Yep put Calvin Kline in and he got me 5 points, Also put mount in and he scored me jack:eek::D

So far so good for me. Out of the 8 changes for this week, Calvert-Lewin and Maupay have paid off with six points each. :) Only got one point for Digne though.

The Leeds v Cit€h result was a surprise. :$ Cit€h were all over them for the first 25-35mins. Many last gasp blocks in the box.

I was way too early using my wild card I think, I really should have waited until I seen some consistent form. But hey, I'll use the ol' cliche - marathon, not a sprint :D [I realise the irony of this, but hopefully the players I did bring in will wake TF back up!]

Football's gone mad today. I imagine it's going to take a while for Liverpool fans to pick their jaws off the floor! :$

I had Salah as my captain so his 2 goals served me well along with Firmino's assist but Van Dijk's -2 took a little of the shine off.
I think the football world will have their Jaw's on the floor. :$

The only plus point for me is having Salah as my Captain. And unbelievably only having -1 each for Alexander-Arnold and Robertson (atm) after shipping 7 goals.

Even with the Salah points, I've lost my H2H.

It's karma for us all laughing at the Man U score!!
Even with two -1's I've managed 74 points, mostly due to Everton! At least Klopp has a couple of weeks to sort it out before the derby!

That was probably the most bizarre weekend for football results that I can remember. I'm wondering whether not having supporters in the stadiums is having an effect on the players (although with the distances at the London Stadium between the stands and the pitch, the West Ham players probably haven't noticed :ROFLMAO: ).

Champsanova (45) had a relatively poor week, but remain in top spot. Biggin Bangers (43) who were 2nd, had a slightly worse week and fall to 4th. Up to 2nd place move The Puckers (70), just four points behind the leader. Farcealona (58) move from 5th > 3rd. And rounding out the top five are Amber Army (67) who move up a place.

Despite missing the first week of points, and unsurprisingly because of that, at the bottom, One Season Wonder have been making up for that initial deficit, and have been scoring very well, and are this weeks highest scorers with 77 points. That brings them to within 5 points of Banished to Riyadh btw, so I think if they were not late to the game they would be comfortably mid table or higher.

The average points for the week was 48.

I got less than the average again with 46. :( It could have been worse though as without using my Wildcard I think I would have got around 30 points, :$ so I am glad that worked out. :) Surprisingly, because of the mad results which seem to have affected some more than others, I move up two places to 13th. :$

There is another International break, :banghead: and so no games for next week. Fingers crossed the players come back fit and Covid free.

The deadline for changes is Sat 17th Oct @11:00.

Btw, history could be made with the first game back as league leaders  Everton take on Liverpool in the early game. The history could be Everton beating Liverpool for the first time in 10 years. Judging by current form, that is a big possibility, especially with how bad Liverpool were yesterday. :( Hopefully Klopp gets them sorted.

Klopp Klopp Boom are now the last unbeaten team in the H2H league after winning their (not very close) game with JUSTSTAYEDUP 74-45 and ending their unbeaten run too. Last week's leader, Biggin Bangers also lost their unbeaten run by going down to AVERAGE 48-39. :$ I think because of the mad results people's scores are varying wildly each week atm, which makes for a lot of unpredictability.

I was beaten by horspath hounds in a not very close 65-46. :(  And I drop from 8th > 9th. :(

Closest result, and the lowest scoring game, was Rotund FC beating Ball Oxes 32 -28. Lucky for Rotund FC as they literally could not have beaten anyone else. Timing is everything. ;)

It's the first all female clash of the season as Amber Army go H2H with Mrs Smith's Boys, and who also happen to be on equal points, so unless it is a draw... ;)

The leader, Klopp Klopp Boom, is next to take on AVERAGE. Viel Glück. ;)

Well, Average has an 8 point start on me today.... Can't believe I've taken a -8 hit the week after a wildcard, but it is a very strange season so far! I made the -4 for Zaha to Son (last time I ever get Zaha), then the second hit last night due to the KDB news...

The H2H scores confuse me a bit, I got 79pts this week but in the H2H it shows only 59 [still won but not by much] they obviously take the scores for H2H earlier?

Needed that decent week to scrape me up off the bottom a little

Luckier still for you it was the week I made 5 transfers :P

I'm pretty aggressive with them, bulldozing to try perfect the team at the cost of about 12pts average cost per week, but it'll pay off ... oh, wait i did same last season and ended up near bottom

It's because you had 20 points taken off for making 6 transfers. I lost 8 points for making 3 and that cost me my H2H (although I gained more that 8 making the transfers so would have still lost)

Ooh, didn't realise I made so many. That's it! Barring myself from the transfer button for now

Champsanova (80) remain in first place ahead of Farcealona (81) just six points behind. Last week's 2nd place, The Puckers (48), move down to 5th after a disappointing week, though better than me. Amber Army (83) move from 5th > 3rd. Biggin Bangers (63) remain in 4th.

The highest scorer of the week were One Season Wonder with 84 points.

The average points for the week was a quite high 60 points. :$

I was well below the average again with only 47 points, and fall from 13th > 17th. It seems my Wildcard changes were only good for one week. :banghead:

The deadline for changes this week in Fri 23th Oct @18:30 because there is a Friday evening game between Aston Villa and Leeds Utd.

I still haven't heard anything from a few teams to say that they are members of the site, not least the leading team. For those that don't make themselves known there will be consequences at some point, because it would not feel right for non TP member to take part, but potentially win the thing ahead of TP members.
