As one of the ways of helping to finance the site we are considering getting a calender made, with members being ask to submit images for the calender(and only to use for this calender, no other marketing etc, and only by us with your permission)and our logo/url, for sale to other members. We are looking at A3 sized wall hangers, properly done, not just knocked up on my epson!

Who would be interested in this? i dont have a firm price yet, though i suspect they wont be cheap, maybe £12 - £15?

what would you prefer, cheaper A4 or plush A3?
 
How about plush A4?, A3 is too big to hang above my desk. If they are the only two choices I would prefer an A4 sized one.

Have you thought about using a service like these:

CLICKY

You send them your logo and they will print it onto mugs, mouse mats etc and visitors can just order them direct ? not sure how much kick back TP would get but it's simple enough to setup I hear.

Spreadshirt, I had a quick look at those last night. Looks like quite a funky setup, very similar to the CafePress idea.
 
choosing photos is easy, we need 13, get you all to submit a shot, vote for the best ones. Sorted :)

Ive looked at that site Neonpollen, ive got some other stuff lined up, which we will be posting about shortly, but thanks for the link!

I'll buy one on the condition my images are used for all 12 months.

A4 might be the wiser choice.
Good idea, I'll definitely have one even if you don't use any of mine.

What about getting the girls together and doing one like Janices?
Taking it one step further we could do a hunks version just for the girls.
That would sell even more.

desk size is another option im considering, the amount of different ones available is daft!

Bachs...hunks is a silly idea, disgusting having men in calenders, nekid ladies is a good one though...i can help with that....
 
A4 or desky tipe thingy would get my vote!!:clap:
 
Another vote for A4 size . Why don't we choose photos from the galleries ? , the forum pays for the space after all :)


It would give me an incentive to put something in mine :D

heh aye 12, 13 if you use a seperate one for the cover.

if there isnt enough interest then i wont go to the trouble as it would be quite a lot of time to sort it all out, we have other things on the go, but calenders are always popular!
 
I was only joking...I think its a great idea, A4 size ofr the desk top jobby...

How about one of those 365 page ones? Then we could all have a page :lol:

Plus nows the time to start getting them ready, March 2007 isnt ;)
 
I did a nude ( :eek: ) desk calendar for my boat club...double sided (men one side, women the other) so there's something for everyone. worked out well but needs funding to get it off the ground.

Who (apart from us) will buy the calendar Matty?

Not being funny, but calendars only really sell at end of year so you need to know where or who your market is.
 
just for us here, its just an idea at the moment, if not enough people are keen then it can go in the maybe later pile

I'll buy one. A4 or desk top gets my vote, and I think having a comp and vote is a good idea. Unless the ladies would like to do one.:naughty:
 
desktop ones look to be as expensive as the standard a4!

i will finalise some options then do a little poll.

desk top would probably be my preference as well
 
A4 here...if it's a little cheaper. I usually buy a charity calendar from Cats Protection or the like for about a fiver :) so it all depends on the price!
 
trouble is with custom calenders is that you pay for a small run, charity calendars are printed in 000's, we dont have that much of a fan-base to play in! No worries though Mini, im sure there will be other tasty things along to tempt you with....
