Has anyone got any experience taking a white backdrop and studio lights outside and using them?

My uncle split-up with his girlfriend so all his stuff has been bunged in the room I was using for a studio. There's no room at the moment. What would results be like outside?

Who needs the white back drop! wait till the evening and get the perfect black background.. ;)

Yeah I know, but I need a white background too.

I can't think of any problems unless it starts to rain!!!! oh and if used on the grass your background might get a little soiled..

I can think of a few problems :)

Don't forget the big yellow thing in the sky is a light source. So you would need to account for it in your setup, exposure and white balance because you are now mixing light sources. So you need to meter it and ratio your lights with it.

It IS possible, just more complicated. :)

Wind could be a problem (A) the background (B) the models hair getting windswept.
