Taking photos in public places

The local paper used to be so full of trypos (sic) that it was known by many of the staff as the Excessive Error rather than the Express and Echo.

Then I was banished to Tiverton and (gasp) Wellington.

Quark lost the plot after version 4.... we moved to Adobe as soon as InDesign was released, but kept Quark just for the old jobs that needed updating.

Interesting. Presumably the photographer knew who she was and took the shot intending to publicise the situation. An amateur street photographer should know better than to take photos of two people in a clinch if it’s obvious that they’re on private property that could be their home.

On the other hand, "in public, your face is public", appears to be the approach in Turkish law. It will be interesting to see if the Turkish courts have accepted this ruling or decide to ignore it. The ECHR has no power to enforce its judgements and Turkey has ignored 1,342 ECHR judgements to date.
