Taking baby steps

I'm just starting out with my new love for photography with something better than my little point and shoot. I've always been really interested in photography but didn't know what to buy as a starter. I eventually got myself a 600D and started playing with it (and my For Dummies book)

I want to start looking at other lenses, getting advice, tips, ideas and the usual stuff.
