I think my favorite bit is " you always were an ass hole Gorman"
Another one that works Oceans xx - 11 was good, 12 was okay (probably not as good as 11) but 13 was awesome (thankfully they had the sense to stop rather tha make a 14)
And the fistfull of dollars trilogy - Fistful was okay, for a few dollars more was an epic, and GB&U (which was set first but made 3rd) was outstanding
On the flip side films that should have been left alone - Magnificent 7 , the first one was ace, "..Ride again" was okayish, "guns of..." was crap , and the fourth one (whatever that was called) was excrebable
and Dirty Harry , 1 was good, 2 was alright, magnum force was so so, the enforcer was utter crap, and I lost interest with 5 when they are pursued down the road by a remote control car :shrug:

Ive never thought this. Pitch Black was better but Chronicles I enjoyed and have watched a fair few times.

It's all very subjective though isn't it? I love Aliens. But it's a very different film to Alien, a totally different genre. Like comparing apples to pears.

yeah fairy muff 3 was more like Alien imo , although the swan dive into the hot lead at the end was very similar to the end of terminator two

Yep, I'd agree with that. The thing about Star Wars though is that there were always going to be more of them. The problems start when a one off film does well and they decide they can squeeze more cash out of it.
