Watched a bond film whilst cooking dinner tonight, the fight scenes in that were so unconvincing compared to the taken scenes , he both suited and acted the part so convincing, he would have been a fab 007. One of my favorite films for a long time.

As per the comments above, Taken is one of my favourite films, Taken 2 was OK but left me underwhelmed and a little disappointed.

The bit where it lost credibility for me was *shouldn't be much of a spoiler* "be discrete but throw a handgrenade every 100 yards" :lol:

I watched it this morning. Not as good as the first one, but not too bad.
The ending leaves the story open for a Taken 3.

i thought taken 2 was ok not as good as the first 1 granted but follow up films never are i did like him in the big man ,

yea now your talking:thumbs: it is a bit like the die hard films i never did think much of the die hard films the only 1 i thought was ok was number 4 ,if there is ever going to be a taken 3 i wonder what the story line would be now:shrug:

Hmmmm, not sure 'bout that....Love the entire franchise, but the implied menace of the original film is what made it so good. Aliens, whilst awesome, was very much "in your face" droolers from start to stop.

I think I prefered the kick ass action in number 2 over the tension of number 1 (because i'm a bloke I suspect i'm visualising myself as Hicks rather than Ripley " I think i'll just keep this handy" (pats shotgun) - RGJ may not have wanted me, but I could have a bright future as a colonial marine :lol: )

Pitch Black is another example of where the second film sucked - Pitch black was okay, but chronicles of riddick was utter crap
 
I had a serious row with someone once who reckoned Pitch Black was better than Aliens - I mean its okay but lets be serious

Aliens was good. But I did like the first as well. Both good in their own way I'd say.
