Just got 8 on an old IBM thinkpad. I think you'd have to do the test on a good quality, calibrated screen to be a fair test.

I scored 934 without moving a tile. Could not be arsed with it TBH.

Turns out my wife is right that I can't tell the difference between colours - I got 76!

Staring at all the little squares did my head in!
 
Bloody hell, just scored a zero! Not bad for a 56 year old, old fart!

There is a knack to it though as I do a check process after the initial sort. Starting from the left, I take each square in turn and move it one place to the right, look to see if its lighter or darker than the square it replaces and if so, move it back. If not, keep it where it is. Then move on one at a time with each square.

Bit anal, I know, but it worked for me :D

I got 11. Don't know if your colour perception fades with age, but at 61, I was fairly pleased.

39 so something Ive confirmed is my eyesight has deteriorated over the last few years, probably as a result of Diabetes and high BP.
 
I am a little pleased, I have perfect colour vision. :)

I also have diabetes - but that's not the problem for me :)
