Take the colour challange

Ooooh I've done this on here before. I didn't do well lol

No point doing this now as I'm only on my iPad but might to it later on the proper computer...I love that fun fact it reminded me of this

11 for me :)

.....but I have only just woken up after 4 hours sleep! (might have another go later.) :p

i got 6 the first time but tried to beat it and got 30 lol

I got 78 but not sure if that's good or bad. Only thing I know is that it's not my age!

Well let's put it this way ... it's not good. A perfect score is zero.

Last time I did this I got bored with it & scored 62 so this time I was a little more patient and ended with a 6

40. Like golf (so I'm told!) I'm hoping that anything under your age is OK. Actually, I only know 1 golfer who's managed to score under his age and he was in his mid 70s at the time.

11 here on recently calibrated laptop.
I do think those with bad scores can reasonably lay part of the blame on the screen or ambient light!

Got a 3. Seemed very obvious where each one went.
But not obvious enough Eh? ;)

Some are colour blind to a greater or lesser extent, and can't differentiate.
Some people, I suspect (Like me) need to re-visit spec savers :D)

It's important to remember that the FM100 is a test of colour discrimination, not colour vision per se.

It's also a bit easier to do in real life, but AFAIK it's only places like universities and eye hospitals that are likely to have the kit.

Scored 8 - wonder if it's down to having an uncalibrated monitor since the mistakes were in 2 tight bands in the red-amber and blue-gree parts of the spectrum. Or maybe I'm just not used to distinguishing colour shades.

On a 17" hp laptop that needs a new display tube (going dim and red) that will no longer calibrate 48 on a General Dynamics Gobook XR-1 (new toy not yet calibrated but obviously off) 40, on a desktop with a calibrated IPS monitor 4, so yes the monitor does seem to make a big difference.

Got 24...not too bad I suppose. My eyes did start going funny after a while hahaha
