before the age of smartphones people were addicted to computers and tv so at least the smartphone allows people to get out and about instead of staying at home

Saw this a little while ago and it is a challenge to think how distracted we can be by smartphones/tablets while others are around.

I found this part of his quote very sad: "Not much talking. Father and two daughters have their own phones out. Mom doesn’t have one or chooses to leave it put away. She stares out the window, sad and alone in the company of her closest family."
