What does everyone use for their fine editing?

I remeber having a tablet years ago, and never really used it... but I wasn't working to the levels I need to now...

Any recommendations for a Tablet?

Thanks
:)

I use my Wacom tablet all the time for editing. The only drawback for me is that there are problems with the drivers on Win 7 OS.

After looking at the tablets, the price and size range is huge!

What is the best of both worlds that is usable?

Cheers

Trevor

Wacom updated drivers for some products in February so it might be worth looking to see if there is one suitable for you link

Ok Thicko alert,What does it do just simply replaces your mouse ? If so do you have more control when editing cause im like a madman when using the mouse, sorry about the questions but im likeing the sound of one of these.

It acts like a mouse plus you have much more control - imagine using a pencil and pressing hard to get a bigger/more definite line or area or pressing more softly for a more delicate result and being able to angle it, these are just some of the things you can do with a tablet and pen that are impossible with a mouse and are so useful when doing any detailed editing

Well it replaces using a mouse but after you get used to one, takes a couple of days, you will wonder how you ever put up with a mouse for retouching.

I was going to post a link to some wacom videos but you can look up tons of that easily, Have a look at thhis though, not photo retouching but gives you some idea of how much control you have with a tablet and pen.

That is rediculously good...

So If I get a tablet will I be able to do that!! ;)

:)

The only thing I use a mouse for now is a quick auto levels or a crop. That's mainly because I use my mouse left-handed and tablet right-handed, the mouse is more convenient for quickies. Very happy with my little Graphire 4 for the rest.
