I'll be reclaiming my garage back soon and want to turn it into a small studio. I would mainly like to shoot flowers and other items on a table with backdrop like the image below. Sadly i will be sharing the garage with the usual gardening junk!!

I have no idea of lighting but i do know i don't want to use flash. I was thinking if 2 floor standing lights and maybe the odd reflector????

So what budget mains powered lights would you reccomend?

Thanks

Hi Andy,

take a look at the web instructional videos on pro photo life they have all you will need and lighting can be from just one light with suitable reflectors.

Mygreenlighting do daylight balanced 150w low energy bulbs that fit standard light fittings. These should be a good option for table top photography.
