Yes
rather than muddy up the thread, I thought I'd start a new one... I saw this
I always carry a pocket watch with a large second hand to time exposures. My shutters have a "T" setting as well as "B" so for longish (over 1 second) exposures I use that. ("B" holds the shutter open as long as you keep the release pressed; "T" opens the shutter on the first press and only closes it on the second, making it easier for long exposures.)
in another thread and noted my rb67 has said T option... can someone please explain, in muppet terms, how I'd go about using this, in terms of release cables and whatnot?

TIA

From p22 in the manual:

l Time Operation
1. By setting the shutter speed scale on T
(time) and releasing the shutter, the shutter
will remain open for an extended time
exposure.
2. To close the shutter, turn the shutter
speed ring toward the 1 sec. mark or press
down the shutter cocking lever about 30?
* Do not move the shutter cocking lever
until just before closing the shutter.

A simple cable release is all that's needed. If you want mirror lock up as well though...

check with the b--------film back off, but you set the lens to M or whatever it is for mirror lock up mode, then you can actually fire the mirror up without a cable using the bodies shutter button, and then after thats up you can fire the shutter in the lens with a cable release

ive found some cables dont get on with my rb67 for reasons unknown, so theres that too :\

Thanks for the information fellas, I did read that in the manual but couldn't get my head around it at the time.
If I were to use a dual cable, I assume the mirror wants to go up first but the exposure doesn't start until the shutter on the lens is activated with the second bit of cable... correct?
