Advancing People -Recruitment Specialists are recruiting on behalf of a leading international distributor based on the outskirts of Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
As a Videographer & Photographer it will be your responsibility to plan, shotty and edit vido material to promote the company's products and brand.
Video
- To work with Digital Manager to schedule video and photographic shoots
- To record and edit regular (on average one per week) video footage to upload onto the company media platforms including the company mobile showrooms
- To work with the Digital Manager, Marketing Managers and Group Marketing Director to storyboard audio and visuals
- To operate audio and video equipment to produce audio and visual material
- To assist and guide the 'subjects’ involved to ensure they understand the intention of the video and contribute appropriately
- To use post production software to record, edit and generate special audio and visual effects for completed material
- To stage lighting and sound equipment as required to provide a professional set
- To work with the Marketing Team to obtain and communicate permissions relating to intellectual property and external images from internal and external stakeholders.
- To distribute images and footage to internal and external stakeholders including website, tablets, wholesalers and external sales representatives
- To organise and store photographic and audio visual material in an organised fashion to ensure easy access to the Marketing Team.
Photography
- To assist the photographer to shoot and edit product, people and situation shots.
- To obtain and publish permissions relating to intellectual property and external images from internal and external stakeholders.
Other
To collaborate with the rest of the team to contribute towards the up-dating of the company website, Social Media and mobile platforms.
Skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Creative Suite 5 Production Premium (Adobe) or other video software
- Photoshop & Indesign knowledge desired
- Copywriting and script writing skills desirable.
- Experienced videographer with a keen interest to further develop
- Excellent organisation skills and good data management ability
- Excellent team player who can work with others and on their own initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Full clean driving licence essential
- Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) desirable
- French and German language skills desirable but not essential
The position will require travel throughout the UK and will be required to travel in Europe from time to time.
You will be required to work such hours to enable you to record our products illuminated in the dark.
This is a full time permanent position and depending on experience would be offering an annual salary of between £20,000 - £30,000 plus company benefits to include generous holiday allowance and company benefits package.
