that is pretty funky stuff.

I can see where the first 2 are going for sure, dont know about the last one but the effects on that are fresh. How was the flamy/nerve ending things achieved?

also any glimpse of the original photos to compare?

Are you sound/colour synaesthetic?

Just wondering if the colour effects you are layering on the photo are imagined or experienced... I have a friend who has a hard time getting to know people called George because of the way the word tastes.

Nice idea though.

Thanks very much, the effect is a fractilius plugin for PS, I was going for an Alex Grey stylee thing and this is just a first experiment. Original image :eek: i'll see what i can do.

George's always taste like when you put your hand into a bag of cold, damp buttons.

The effects were applied on masked areas, it was a quick effort just to see but next time layers and more time will be used to get a more polished finish.

It's mainly sound/shapes but yes, a bit of sound colour. I'm working on a couple of ideas to express it but it's the same as anything else, it's not easy to accurately convey subjective perception to a computer monitor!

I really like these as a series as you get more immersed. Don't think I could look at them for too long without getting a headache though :D

Funky stuff! My Triton Pro X is suffereing from a bit of neglect of late.
 
Getting back to the photos, I love the progression through the images.
I can't even start to think about what it sounds like, or how it culminated.

Looking forward to the next installment.

The 'Magic Lamp' link in my signature will take you to 3 tracks off the album which is called 'Science of the Lamps' (Detuned to 432hz and using fibonacci ratio's in it's composition, if your interested in that sort of stuff). There are also a couple of tracks on the 'Huujuu.com' link as well, if the first has'nt scared you off. Would love to get into more detail about what its all about, but this being a photography forum and all.........
