Synctoy not working

For some reason I can't get synctoy to work on my Windows 7 computer. It had been working fine. Backed up my works computer onto the same external drive I use for my PC using synctoy, no problem. Go to do it on my PC no joy, delete synctoy re-install it no joy, set up different files on the external drive still no joy.

All I get is "failed to create folder pair. Failed to create provider"

Anybody got any ideas?

Always run in admin mode. If you've gone from 32 to 64 bit you need the 64 bit version.

My windows 7 is 32 bit, but Synctoy has worked on it for over a year until just recently.

You need to repair or remove/reinstall 2 other things that sync toy depends on. Sync toy itself is not the problem it says.

Thanks for that, like most others I have recently installed Samsung Kies. Will give it a go tomorrow when I have some time
