For the first time in over 8 years I will no longer have any 43 or m43 kit. I used 4/3 then switched to m43 gear but it's now being sold as I've decided to go with my Sony gear only.
About 6 months ago I bought an A7R2, to see what FF is like, I like the camera and now have a nice compliment of lenses for it
It was my intention to run 2 systems, the A7R2 + lenses as my main kit and the m43 as a compact travel kit, but in the end the Sony stuff packed into such a small bag anyway it isn't a problem to carry about at all.
I've just bought an A6000 + 16-50 kit lens to compliment the ff setup and also as a second (backup) body. As both bodies can use the same lenses (although the A6000 is crop sensor) it makes more sense than having 2 different systems (Sony and m43).

I was never unhappy with m43 but for various reasons just prefer the FF photos. A lot of the time the difference is unnoticeable or barely noticeable but other times the extra detail in the shadows and highlights is obvious.
I also think I just fancied a change.

So it is with a slightly heavy heart I bid farewell to m43, it served me very well, but things move on.

Seems like a very good choice.

Both the A7RII and the A6000 are exceptional cameras in their respective fields.

Sounds sensible. I too ditched all of my m4/3 stuff this year. Loved it, but just found that I used my FF in favour of it and so my m4/3 stuff became expensive dust collectors other than 1 week of the year when I went on holiday :(

I have an A7 and MFT and although I get a bit frustrated with MFT I think I'll stick with it and the saving grace for me is the lenses.

I would however like MFT to pick up a few things from Sony including the ability to have auto ISO in all modes with the ability to dial in exposure compensation and I'd also like Sony's real time exposure and DoF preview in all modes too.

Using MFT after the A7 and not having these things seems like picking up a camera from 1971. Almost :D

PS.
Panasonic (I don't know about Olympus) need to fix the shutter shock issue with some of their gear. Switching to electronic shutter can bring it's own issues and isn't IMO a fix.

I think you're a more experienced user of MFT than me Alan, so you probably already know, but I discovered that you can set the auto ISO to be available in more modes than it defaults to with factory settings. I use it on my Olympus EM5ii in Manual.

I would also like the option to be able to dial in exposure compensation as well as having auto ISO... for both my Canon 5D3 and my Oly
