Anyone watch the documentary on C4 ?

A Father, Legend, and Family all broken from the affects of Alcoholism.

I so hope he doesn't continue down the same road and end up like another legend, the late George Best.

A documentary about Surviving Gaza would be more interesting, IMO.

On a more serious note though, alcoholism is pure evil. I won't forget that goal he scored against us (Scotland) but I hope he gets through it all eventually, it can't be easy for him or his family.

He was often to be seen staggering around Paisley, pished ,when he played for Rangers, Vodka Wodka being his drinking hole of choice....

I really don't think that Israel should continue to bomb him just because he's an alchoholic :naughty:

OK a bit more serious:
So why do his family feel the need to put this in to the public domain  was there money involved somewhere

His family were on "This Morning" today and the story is that Gazza was supposed to be in the whole documentary and therefore it obviously had his blessing.
But he went back on the booze and quit early on but the filming continued without him in.
They said that the documentary was not done for any financial gain, simply to highlight the problem of alcoholism and how it affects people.

It touched my heart a little more than normal as an old school friend of mine (although I hadn't seen him for years) only a few weeks ago drank himself to death aged 34.
