Hi, so this monday is a super super moon, one not seen since i believe 1948!

Does anyone know an app or software that can show the position of moon relevant to specific location?

I wish to check and see if the moon can be seen above a couple of locations on that night when viewed from a specific angle, ie is above it when viewed from front.

thanks

Have a look at the free - for PCs and Macs - The Photographer's Ephemeris - http://photoephemeris.com/

It will show you all you need.

That is a super little tool. Last time I used that a download was needed, but it is now just a weblink. Satellite pics for my area are only a few months old. (y)

Too late now unless you want to try for the December one, which won't be quite as big. But I have a great app on my Android handset called Sun Surveyor. Think it cost a couple of quid if I remember correctly. One of its features is to overlay moon and sun etc to Google Street view.

Here's an example. I didn't go out due to the clouds though.
