Beginner Sunset Picture Attempt

I've been getting home late and managed to catch the sunset once or twice recently. Last night's attempt was rubbish - power lines etc in the way. Today's is a bit of an improvement, but constructive criticism would be helpful. For starters I wasn't sure if I should crop some off the bottom, removing a bit more roof:

This is just my take.. sunsets make great backdrops but rarely make good pictures on their own. You still need a strong subject. Perhaps concentrate on a closeup of the aerials next time you're passing?

I like this, shows a great mood shot, love that you can see the three sets of hills in the background, the tv antennas show its on the rooftops, nice one, well done
