Yes
Completely random but what are your best sunset photos? And how do you make a sunset look good in a pic?

Here's one of mine:

IMO the best way to make a sunset look good in a pic is not make it the main subject of the photo
Take a photo of something else, but with the sunset as a great backdrop - much like you have done there.
Sure, sunsets are pretty, but they become very uninteresting.

:agree:

Sunsets make for great watching, but I only seem to appreciate them in a photo when they're part of a bigger picture e.g.

This is the one my Wife likes best. Partly because it reminds her of a holiday and partly because it was she (sad but true) who spotted the little boat and realised the potential ........ For me sunsets are difficult to experience in 2-D images, they are far more a 'have to be there to experience it' kind of thing and I applaud anyone who captures a good un

Kind of a sunset picture. My first post on this forum (and one of my first pictures tbh), I'm a bit rubbish. This was taken on my crappy little fujifilm finepix s5600

hi i want to join in but how do i add an insert an image?

Go to reply, then there is a small symbol of mountains with a sun. Click that. If your pictures are elsewhere on the internet, Flickr etc, then right click on them, go to properties and copy the address (URL) into the space that was made when you clicked the symbol. Sorry for the poor wording...

thanks for that but what if its not on the net can it be upload to the forum from my pc?

Kimo, you can post an image by clicking on this button when you are posting a comment:

Picture_3.png

You will then need to enter a website address of where your image is. (It's easiest if you have a flickr account or, if not, you can use the pics which are in your tp gallery.)

But if you don't have any images then you can upload them to your tp account - the longest side can only be 800 pixels and the image can be max 200kb in size.

Sorry, a bit complicated but good luck!
