Sunpak flashgun

Hi all, first post here.
i have the english version of this http://cgi.ebay.com/SUNPAK-Auto-522...yZ107933QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Sunpack 3600, and i am hoping to offer it for sale, however i am getting conflicting info. What i need answering is this flash compatable with modern-day digital cameras? Because i have read that the output voltage is too high

If you use the flash off camera then it's fine. Just to be save don't directly put the flash on the camera

if you have a look there it may tell you the trigger voltage of that flashgun , the general guide is that modern digital cameras are safe for voltages up to 6 volts .

Thanks for the speedy replies, the voltage given for this modal is 194v, a little bit over the 4-9 volts that is quoted for modern digitals, so i guess to use it would fry anything.
